Hi Ka Flash is designed to accelerate your learning of the basic Japanese kana (hiragana and katakana) using flashcards, quizzes and audio recordings.

Unlike other applications that have you work with either hiragana or katakana, Hi Ka Flash helps you to learn both kana and their romaji counterpart at once.

Kana List presents you with the kana syllabols in order as learned by Japanaese childeren. It shows the romaji, hiragana and katakana. Tap on a character to hear it pronounced by a native Japanese speaker.

Flashcard presents a kana flashcard. Tap the flashcard to see the hiragana, katakana and romaji answer. Swipe or shake to randomly select a different flashcard.

Quiz is the final part of the Hi Ka Flash learning system. A hiragana, katakana or romaji character is presented to you along with four answers. Answers can be a combination of hiragana, katakana and romaji. By introducing all three elements at once Hi Ka Flash helps you identify and learn the kana and its counterparts with greater ease and efficiency.
